March on, we are victorious

Dear Constituents,
SEN OLUREMI TINUBU (14)-1We have come a long way to arrive at this critical point of our journey for a sustainable development which we started together progressively in 2011. The journey has been trailed by serial attacks from those who will make peaceful transition inevitable. We have remained undaunted. We have demonstrated our resolve and character as true patriots. Our interest is logged on to the service to the people through transparency and accountability.

This journey you will recall began in 2010 with Action Congress of Nigeria, the platform that created a voice for us at the legislative arm of our government. The party later metamorphosed into All Progressives Congress, APC with a clear projected vision of restoring the dignity of country through our philosophy of change.

The APC’s philosophy is the welfare of the common man, the assurance of a great future for the youth, and a decent quality of life of all. The APC is determined to give a voice to the youth, which is evidently pursued in all our programmes highlighted during our sequential Town Hall Meetings. Our youth must however, be ready to take that philosophy and vision to heart and mind and promote its uniqueness among our people more.

We are committed to nation where every citizen has the opportunity to work and earn a decent wage, and where the disadvantaged elderly, the physically challenged and the unemployed are assisted by their respective leaders, constituents and states. Every life is important to our national growth and development.

A nation that is economically and socially vibrant. A nation that recognizes our diversity as a source of strength. A nation that guarantees the reality of business of every government which is welfare and security of its people. A Nation we can all be proud of is what our party, the All Progressives Congress hallmarks.

The “Elderly in the Eyes of Posterity” theme of our 13th Town Hall Meeting exposed my readiness to serve you more. I will continue to sustain empowerment schemes such as the Petty Traders Empowerment Capital Scheme (PETECS), Elderly Citizens Assistance Scheme (ECAS), Youth Empowerment and Skills Acquisition Scheme (YESAS).
We have had programmes and constituency initiatives that were designed to make a difference in the lives of Constituents and ultimately our Constituency initiatives like “grant of scholarships and bursaries, recapitalization and empowerment schemes, provision of financial assistance for senior citizens, widows, and those at the crossroads of life as well as skills acquisition.

Nigeria is changing. We are a young and dynamic nation, where individual citizens strive hard to improve their lives and those of their families. Yet a culture of greed and corruption is holding us back, with trust in the government’s ability to create jobs and address basic needs at an all-time
low. The disappointment of people in their national government is understandable, as more than 100 million Nigerians are forced to live on less than one dollar per day.

Dear Party members, March 28, is very important to our unity as a nation, it is very essential to our dream of a just and secured society where we can sleep with two eyes closed. The consequence of trusting power to a party that does not have the genuine interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart are clearly manifest in our political and economic predicament today. We must vote credible leaders that will be accountable to us all and give us a value for our votes.
We must remain vigilant. Our weapon is our PVC. It is our license to change.
When we march on together, Victory is certain.

Kindly vote Change.

Signed

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON
Lagos Central Campaign Office.
