The Lagos State Government yesterday held its annual thanksgiving service at the open field of the Lagos House in Ikeja.

Remi Tinubu empowers students, rural women

THE joy of the people of Lagos Central Senatorial district knew no bounds when their representative in the Senate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu empowered rural women and awarded scholarship to many of her constituents.

This gesture was made through the Senator’s constituency initiatives tagged; Post-Secondary School Scholarship Scheme PSSS and Petty Traders Empowerment Capital Scheme PETECS.

THE popular Expo Hall, Eko Hotel, Lagos was full to capacity, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 with kids taking the lead at an inter-denominational service of praise and worship meant to portray the Nigerian unity through the innocence of children camaraderie.

Tinubu Foundation felicitates with elderly, widows

A non-governmental organisation, Bola Tinubu Foundation, has distributed 3,000 bags of rice and vegetable oil to elderly people and widows in Lagos State.

This was part of the foundation’s Christmas outreach programme.

The coordinators, Ademola Gbadegesin and Seyi Tinubu, told reporters at the Women Development Centre, Ogba, where the items were distributed, that the foundation believes in caring for the needy.… Read the rest
