Senate C’ttee On Maritime Joins Force To Revamp Sector

The new impetus towards repositioning the maritime sector received a boost as the Senate Committee on Maritime Transport yesterday pledged to work with the federal government to achieve a total overhaul of the corruption-ridden sector.

Fayemi: you can’t be leader if you are not competent

Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi yesterday emphasised the need to groom the youth for leadership based on the doctrines of character development, integrity, honesty and fear of God. He also called for the re-evaluation of politics, saying that those who enter public offices through politics must also have alternative jobs they can return to when they leave power.
