Paralympics: Sani Ndanusa Extols Wheelchair Tennis Team

President on the Nigeria Tennis Federation, NTF, Engr. Sani Ndanusa, is excited with the qualification of country’s wheelchair tennis players for Paralympics Games.

Ndanusa said the feat was a testimony that wheelchair tennis is fast growing in the country. The President of Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC, said: “I’m excited with the qualification as the players proved themselves again in Kenya. Council to pupils:be serious

The Chairman, Apapa Local Government Area, Hon. Ayodeji Joseph, has said that the council will continue to place high premium on the educational development of the residents.

Speaking through his wife, Sarah Joseph at the 2012 Spelling Bee Competition, he noted that without the right education, it  would difficult to overcome  their economic and social challenges.

Tribunal dismisses LP’s petition against Senator Tinubu

The Legislative Election Petition Tribunal in Lagos yesterday dismissed the petition filed by the Labour Party (LP) challenging the election of Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu as Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District and her party, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

The tribunal held that it lacked jurisdiction and hinged its decision on the recent Supreme Court judgment, upholding the provision of the Electoral Act that all election petitions should be concluded within 180 days.… Read the rest
