As part of her constituency projects to the development of the Lagos State Central Senatorial District, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has said that a drug treatment and rehabilitation centre, estimated at N200 million will be built in the locality.
She said the project, when completed, would cater for street boys and girls who, due to abuse of drugs, have become destitute and are causing environmental hazard to the people in the community.
Tinubu, who made this remarks during the third edition of Lagos Central Senatorial District Town Hall meeting and presentation first year report in Apapa Local Government Area, noted that a piece of land had already being secured and that once the Federal Government gives the approval, the construction of the center will commence.
“When we set it up, we would hand it over to the state government, but we would support the scheme to the fullest.
